Some Things I Have Written/Edited

Writing

I enjoy magazine writing. The combination of researching, composing and editing under tight deadlines on  something you have no previous knowledge of is like taking a crash course in the subject assigned to you. If you have knowledge on the subject in question, the process challenges you to present the information in an accessible fashion.

Below is the spread from my article on the environmental state of the Great Lakes, written for alive magazine (March 2010).

The whole article can be read online by clicking on this link: http://www.alive.com/7621a20a2.php?current_topic=33 which will take you to the alive website.

Another article I am quite proud of, also written for alive magazine is my article on arthritis and holistic ways to cope with the disease in order to live life to the fullest.

I have no link to this article, but will work on a way that you can read the PDF of this article.

Editing

Editing is the crucial part of the writing process that ensures your audience will be able to understand what you are presenting to them. For two years I had the pleasure of writing for the UBC School of Music in their publication High Notes. For the 2008/2009 edition I had the pleasure of not only writing the content for the publication, but also editing the entire issue.

The following link will take you to the PDF of the entire issue on the UBC Scool of Music's website:
