Hello and welcome to my blog. For now this blog will serve as a temporary showcase of my creative life until I decide how I would like it all to appear on my future website.
About me:
Life has led me down some interesting roads. After high school I wasn't sure what vocation to
pursue. So I went to UBC and became a geologist. That was quite an experience. Looking at rocks paid the bills, but it was the falling down mountains, encountering bears and flying with reckless pilots that made the experience.
When exploration in Canada took a nose dive, I decided it was time to explore my creative side. I went to school to learn all about theatre from the behind-the-scenes point of view. I learned how to build, pai
nt, design and also learned about theatre history and the arts in Western Civilization. From there my creative life flourished. I even worked as a roadie one summer for a music tour.
Life threw a couple of curve balls at me and I had to rethink my future. I developed a physical disability. I could still build, sculpt, paint and be physically active, I just could no longer or should no longer put in the 12-18 hour days that theatre and film demanded. So I went back to school taking a writing and editing program. Now I have the ability to create with words. This opens even more doors for me.
